Child Support
Child support in Illinois is determined by percentages. It is based on the income of the non-custodial parent and the number of children she or he supports. Every case, however, is unique and should be treated that way. Ms. Verett has experience litigating child support arrearages, modifications of child support and initial determinations of child support. While you may hear of some parents paying very low sums or more money than they can afford, this is not the reality in most cases. Ms. Verett works with her clients to help determine the right child support for their case. Whether you are challenged by the loss of your job or do not think you are getting enough child support, call Ms. Verett to discuss your case. Ms. Verett also works on cases where employers do not pay child support according to Court Order.
