Guardianships
A person may apply to be the guardian of a child when his or her parents are unable to take care of the child. This can happen when the parent is incarcerated, addicted to drugs or alcohol, has been sent to fight overseas, or has simply abandoned the child in your care. Guardianship cases are very complicated, and require an attorney with the knowledge and skill to file the correct paperwork and to advocate for you and the children. Because of the standards of proof that must be met (in other words, what you must prove) Ms. Verett thoroughly investigates all of the facts before taking any fees. Her investigation is not a guarantee of success, but you can feel comfortable that Ms. Verett will not simply take your case to generate a fee. Call her to discuss your case today.
