Mediation

Do you want to settle your case in a relaxed atmosphere where you can craft a settlement that meets the needs of you and your children?  Do you want a more active role in shaping the outcome of a visitation plan or custody arrangement?  Do you have the ability to work with the other parent of your child?  Then you may be a candidate for mediation.  Mediation can be Court Ordered and is whenever custody or visitation is an issue.  But you can mediate before your case is filed and work out all of the issues at a lesser expense.  If you have been Court Ordered to attend mediation, then you still have the opportunity to settle many issues without having to litigate endlessly or waiting for the Court have trial dates open.
